And here's the report:
$62 for meat and stuff from Boise Milk, delivered Thursday.
$159 for stock up items (canned peaches, pears, chocolate chips, fabric softener, frozen chicken, etc) at Costco. Used a few coupons from Costco.
$12.48 and $17.60 for stock up at Albertsons, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, etc.
and today, finished off the week at Winco and got pasta, selected produce, cheese, yogurt, crackers, and more and spent $58.65.
I saved nothing at Boise Milk, about 2% at Costco and Winco, and 70% at Albertsons. Overall, I am at 17% savings.
Grand total for the trips: $311. The amazing thing? Last month and the month before, I spent $300 at Costco alone.
My goal for the month is to spend $500. That's a huge drop from the previous two months (where, admittedly, I was spending too much stockpiling).
For the next three weeks, I'll therefore have a budget of $63 a week. I can go couponing only if I'm going to save lots and spend very little.
Thank goodness for Fabulesslyfrugal.com, double coupons at Albertsons, and Winco. I will try to stay out of the stores as much as possible, which is where BoiseMilk.com will really help. I can get milk, dairy products, and produce delivered and stay out of the store.
Onward!
